Potato Soil Removal and Cleaning Machine 5XT-40

The 5XT-40 potato cleaning and conveying machine is powered by an external 380V power supply.

It is primarily used in conjunction with transport vehicles equipped with self-unloading conveyor chassis for the cleaning and sorting of potatoes before they are stored.

Due to its design, which is compatible with dedicated transport vehicles equipped with self-unloading conveyor belts, the machine has a simple and lightweight structure, flexible layout, and low potato damage rate. It is reliable and easy to maintain.

Machine Structure:

The machine mainly consists of a receiving hopper, main conveyor, sorting device, impurity conveying device, buffer and collection device, electrical control system, and frame.

Machine Principle:

The equipment is compact and lightweight. It can be moved manually on a flat warehouse floor.

During operation, the equipment is first debugged and started. Potatoes are fed in via conveyor belts or transfer vehicles. The passive vibration soil removal device within the main conveyor screen completes the first step of potato-soil separation. The separated impurities are conveyed via a receiving belt under the screen to a collection and lifting device.

The potatoes are then conveyed forward to a sorting device. In this device, smaller potatoes, small stones, clods of soil, and broken soil fall through the gaps in the sorting rollers onto a conveyor belt for transporting them to the soil conveyor.

Larger potatoes continue to be conveyed forward to a buffer and collection device, and then further conveyed to subsequent conveyor belts for collection by the user for storage or processing.
