5XF-100 Potato Cleaning Conveying Machine is connected to 380V power supply to drive the equipment hydraulic pump station then drive all hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylinders, mainly used for the cleaning and sorting links after potato harvest.

Product Introduction

The 5XF-100 potato cleaning and conveying machine is powered by an external 380V power supply to drive the hydraulic pump station, which in turn drives all the hydraulic motors and cylinders. It is primarily used for cleaning and sorting potatoes after harvest.


Its simple structure and easily adjustable hydraulic system facilitate fault detection and troubleshooting, offering convenience, speed, high efficiency, high sorting accuracy, and low potato damage rate. It features a compact structure, reliable performance, and simple maintenance.


Machine Structure:


The machine mainly consists of a receiving hopper, main conveyor, sorting device, small potato conveyor, soil conveyor, buffer and gathering device, hydraulic control system, electrical control system, and frame.


1. Receiving Hopper: Used to temporarily hold potatoes for sorting and to gather and shield them, ensuring efficient sorting.


2. Main Conveying Device: Used for conveying potatoes before they enter the sorting platform; the conveying speed is adjustable.


3. Sorting Device: A crucial component for potato sorting. It separates small potatoes, impurities, small stones, and some weeds, conveying them to both sides of the equipment via a conveyor belt. The opposing spiral springs allow potatoes to remain on the device for a longer period, improving sorting accuracy.


4. Small Potato Conveying Device: Used to receive and convey smaller potatoes falling from the sorting device, removing impurities from the falling material. The impurities fall to the soil conveying device for further transport.


5. Soil Conveying Device: Used to transport the soil falling from the small potato conveying device to the corresponding impurity conveying device.


6. Buffer and Gathering Device: Used to connect the sorting device to the subsequent conveying equipment of the potato cleaner, buffering the falling material and adjusting the conveyor width to match the subsequent conveying equipment.


7. Hydraulic Control Unit: The hydraulic control system mainly consists of a hydraulic power unit, multi-way valve, flow valve, hydraulic lock, hydraulic motor, and hydraulic cylinders. It is primarily used to control the rotation and speed regulation of the main conveying device, sorting device, potato conveying device, and soil conveying device. The hydraulic system also controls the adjusting hydraulic cylinder of the sorting device, and adjusts the sorting gap by adjusting this cylinder.


8. Electrical Control System: The electrical control system mainly consists of a distribution cabinet and related components. It is primarily used to control the start and stop of the hydraulic power unit, as well as the start, stop, and emergency stop of the entire system.


9. Frame: The frame connects and supports the above components and maintains the balance and stability of the entire machine.


Working Principle:


For short-distance transportation, the equipment is towed to the work site by a tractor.


Before operation, the equipment is debugged and started. Potatoes are fed into the transfer hopper via a conveyor belt or transfer vehicle, and then conveyed forward by the main conveyor to the sorting device (the sorting device has already adjusted its gaps according to the required potato size).


Smaller potatoes, small stones, clods of soil, and broken soil fall through the gaps in the sorting rollers to the small potato conveyor, which then transports them to the corresponding conveyor belt. Broken soil falls through the gaps in the small potato conveyor belt to the soil conveyor, which then transports them to the mixed soil conveyor belt.


The remaining larger potatoes continue to be conveyed forward to the buffer and collection device, and then to the subsequent conveyor belts for collection by the user for storage or processing. The entire machine operation is then complete.
