Potato Ton-bag Combine Harvester 4UL-170D
The 4UL-170D bagging-type potato combine harvester can perform single-pass potato digging, potato-soil separation, potato-vine separation, manual picking and cleaning, centralized collection and conveying, and bagging. It can harvest two rows at a time, achieving an efficiency of over 0.33 hm²/h, with minimal loss, low skin breakage rate, slight potato damage, and low impurity content.

Machine Structure:
The 4UL-170D bagging-type potato combine harvester is a towed type. Its main structure consists of a traction frame, digging device, primary
conveying device, hydraulic vibration device, soil cleaning and impurity removal device, lifting and transferring device, sorting and conveying device,
buffer hopper device, material conveying device, ton pack unloading device, independent hydraulic device, and steering wheel device.
The 4UL-170D potato combine harvester employs two hydraulic systems. One system uses a tractor gear pump as the hydraulic power source,
comprising a main hydraulic valve, various sub-functional hydraulic valves, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, and hydraulic accessories.
The main valve is an imported Bosch Rexroth brand, enabling simultaneous, rapid, and precise control of multiple actuators under different load
pressures, with each actuator operating independently.
The other hydraulic system is powered by the tractor's PTO output shaft, driving a gear pump, hydraulic control valves, and hydraulic motors to
operate the lifting screen.
The 4UL-170D potato combine harvester's intelligent control system includes a control handle, display, controller, and sensors, enabling operator
and staff to control the machine.
Video surveillance systems can monitor critical work processes, allowing operators to easily understand the machine's operation.
Working Principle:
When a tractor-hauled combine harvester operates, the digging device first excavates the crops on the ridges. Under the action of the contour-following
depth-limiting wheels, the soil on the ridges gradually loosens. The cutting discs at both ends cut the vines, and the digging shovel excavates the
mixture of crops, soil, and vines into the primary conveying device.
In the primary conveying device, the potato-soil-vine mixture undergoes potato-soil separation via a hydraulic vibration device. When the mixture
reaches its highest point, it directly enters the soil and debris removal device.
The soil and debris removal device uses rubber auger rollers that rotate backward. A vine-pulling shaft is installed between every two sets of
rubber auger rollers, separating soil clods and mud from the material mixture.
A vine-pulling chain screen is installed between the debris removal device and the lifting device. The vines are directly conveyed out via the
vine-pulling chain. The relatively clean potatoes are finally conveyed to the upper conveyor belt via the lifting device.
Manual picking and sorting remove any remaining mud, stones, or vines. Stones are removed through... The potatoes fall to the ground through
the guide channel, where they are cleaned and placed in a buffer bin for bagging.
The falling height of the potatoes on the upper conveyor belt is automatically adjusted to ensure they are not damaged upon entering the buffer bin.
At the rear of the machine, the bagging operator controls the lower conveyor belt,to quickly transport the clean potatoes into the ton bags,
adjusting the height of the ton bags relative to the lower conveyor belt as needed.
Once the ton bag is full, it is unloaded from the machine and placed on the ground by a tilting action.
The 4UL-170D bagging-type potato combine harvester is a towed type. Its structure has the following advantages:
1. A digging shovel structure enables 2+2 harvesting mode.
2. An electro-hydraulic vibration control system allows the operator to adjust the vibration frequency of the primary screen from the cab via a knob.
3. A lifting net conveyor ensures good soil leakage and clean material.
4. Traction (ground wheel) steering function greatly shortens the machine's turning radius.
5. Seedling conveyor chain and seedling removal device reduce seedlings and other debris without damaging the potatoes.
6. Multi-stage spiral rubber roller soil and debris removal device effectively removes soil and debris from the potato surface and can be reversed via
a handle.
7. Upper conveyor device features adjustable speed and adjustable discharge arm height. The conveyor belt speed can be adjusted according to the
number of pickers, and the discharge arm height can be adjusted according to the material status in the buffer bin to reduce potato bruising.
8. The buffer bin enables non-stop harvesting and ton bag loading.
9. The lower conveyor device can be controlled to start and stop, and completes the ton bag loading function. Ton bag unloading personnel use
handles to transport materials from the buffer bin to the ton bags, and control the lifting/lowering and tilting/reverse functions of the ton bags. Ton
bag unloading is fast.
10. Manual sorting and picking device ensures a higher cleanliness rate of potatoes within the ton bags.
11. Intelligent electro-hydraulic control system: all actions of the potato combine harvester are completed by the operator and ton bag
unloading personnel via control handles.
12. Video monitoring system: capable of monitoring key processes such as ton bag unloading, primary screen conveying, buffer hopper fullness,
and the operation of the cleaning rollers.
13. Except for the primary screen, all other conveying devices are hydraulically driven, ensuring that the conveyor belt or other components are
not damaged in case of blockage.
